These, however, may motivate you to look further and see all the career options in this field.

For people interested in nursing but who lack the time or means to become an RN, becoming a nursing assistant or aide is a good idea. The major advantage of this career choice is that you only need to have a high school diploma to accomplish it. You ought to take some college courses and get the certificates that will make it easier to get a new job but you don't always have to do that. Nursing assistants are supervised both by RNs and other medical professionals.

When you want to work in the health industry and want to teach, you should consider becoming a health educator.

If you are interested in alternative medicine, there are lots of careers to be had here. Many people are really skeptical of traditional mainstream medicine and choose to ask for help from holistic doctors, herbalists, acupuncturists and other professionals in the area of alternative medicine.

You can study Chinese medicine or Ayurveda, which is the traditional medicine of India. There are lots of schools that will teach these and a variety of alternative medical practices so you need to do your research to see which ones appeal to you the most. After you complete your training you can either look for a job or set up your own practice.
