So in a few minutes my sidewalk and driveway looks pretty good. Of those who do edge, most of them have no clear dirt line.
Does what it's supposed to do quickly and easily. I have what I think is a pretty standard size suburban lot (10,000 square foot), this edger cuts a clean path around the driveway and sidewalk in short order.
Thanks, Black and Decker! I've used mine for over a year with no problems.
I am still using the original blade, so nothing has been a serious problem. Compared with the manual edgers which you have to push hard and fast, this small electric model is a dream. Very good edger! I found this edge hog to be very useful.
I do not like gas powered yard equipment, because gas lines dry up, and there are just so many problems with them, this is a very powerful electric item, and well worth the money. Had used a manual push type for years, broke down and got this. My results with it have been excellent. The included instructions were sub-standard. Personally it took me edging 3-4 times, after I feel comfortable with it. The first time I used the edger I was amazed at how easy it is to use and the sharp edge it makes.
It was really great! I think they should just include it in the box with the fencing materials. This product was great. We moved into our house a little over a year ago and I knew we were going to need an edger at one point in time. Shipment arrived in original box that had been cut and opened then taped closed. The edger was dirty and had scratches on it. For use around my yard I believe this edger will serve the purpose without the hassle of a gas motor. I never thought too much about edging my yard till I saw my neighbor using this.
Cleaner, no need for gas mix. Highly recommend this Black and Decker product I originally bought a HAND edger for $20 for our lawn that wasn't maintained for years.
I used to have a gas-powered edger, it's just a hassle compared to an electric one. Excellent in trimming along flower beds. I purchased one of these about 8 years ago and it's been chugging along fine ever since [other than replacing blades periodically). We have purchased another house about 3 hours away and I decided to buy another one for there.
